State Supervisor Mary F. Hodge

State Supervisor Mary F. Hodge was born in Waterloo, Iowa - the first of five children born to Deacon Anthony and Mother Virlee Reasby. She received Christ as her savior at the age of 10, attended elementary and high school in Iowa and one school year at Saints Industrial School in Lexington, MS. She later obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of La Verne in La Verne, CA.

Mother Hodge is married to Deacon Forrest M. Hodge who served for many years as vice president of the international usher board in Memphis, TN. They have four children: a daughter, Valerie; and three sons, Reginald, Wayne and Milford, 13 grandchildren and 2 great grand-children.

Mother Hodge was employed for 28 years with the Dept. of Public Social Services, retiring in 1989, at which time she founded the Pomona Women's Fellowship home, and the Pomona men's home. Supervisor Mary Hodge is a charter member of New Direction Community Church of God in Christ in Pomona, CA under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Raymond E. Watts. Mother Hodge is very active in her local church and has served in many capacities - most currently as Sunday Family Bible Institute senior class teacher, member of the Mothers' Board and Deacons' Wives Circle. Additionally, Mother Hodge served as a district missionary for about 18 years in Southern California Jurisdiction One.

Mother's motto is: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Phil. 4:13. And all that I am or ever hope to be, I owe it all to God! To God be the glory!
